My Last Regular Coffee?

After today it is decaf until the pregnancy test.
Transfer is scheduled for 2:00 today. We are lucky enough to have some 8 cell embryos this time which is pretty good news. They have determined that I am at a slightly higher risk than average for OHSS but not enough to stop proceeding. As always we are going to be cautiously optimistic. Keep your fingers crossed!

Retrieval

Just finished retrieval and there were a total of 23 eggs. 16 mature, 5 borderline and 2 immature. This time was very different from last time as I am not even sure any drugs got onto me! Now it is just time to rest until we hear from the embryologist tomorrow morning.

Back and Forth

They say that IVF is like a roller coaster ride and they sure are right. We have had some complications along the way because they have over stimulated me and now I am at an increased risk for OHSS. Therefore they have had to decrease my medicine a vouple of tomes and I have had to come back daily. For the last 3 days I was driving back and forth so that I could at least make it into work for 1/2 of a day but it just was to much. So last night the whole family made the trip up and we will be here for at least the whole weekend. I am so happy because I missed them soo much!
